"I think many photographers tend to depict some of the
more miserable 'truths' of our world like war, calamity,
atrocity, iniquity, duplicity, death and decay. Now there is
no doubt that such reminders are important and necessary.
But looking at those type of pictures always leaves me
feeling depressed and/or angry. They engender negative
thoughts and emotions in me and a sense of hopelessness.

That is not what I want my photographs to do.

Rather, I seek to convey positiveness in my pictures by focusing on the beauty, power, and magnificence I see in the faces and nature of my native land (and of the world at large). I hope that my photographs will help viewers feel calmer and more hopeful.

Thanks for visiting my online gallery, I hope you find something you like!"
